- BASS
If you are the type of person who sings a very low male voice with a little or more saw or deepness to it you are a bass,a bass is the lowest male voice and is commonly used in choir,Im sure you have encountered people with amazing low voices and most of them are used in documentaries,none the less in singing the bass plays a cruicial part in making harmonics sound great and with the right singer the bass can be executed perfectly.
BARITONE
Baritone is the second lowest male voice and is a sweet sport for the low end singer,this is where you find solo artists starting to venture from,exaples are(John Legend,legendary Frank sinatra,Scott hoying of pentatonics)he is my fave and so onso if you are not a bass and you cant sing high note as a man you are definately a barritone although sometimes barritones tend to sing tewnor in their high notes.
TENOR
Now lets talk about tenor,tenor is the second highest male voice and this is where we get a sweetspot for the high part of male voice,so you are not a barritone and sing a smooth light toned vocal and you feel unconfotable singing low though not bass or high,you are definately a tenor.
A tenor singer is easily recognizable from other voices in a choir,thats how unique it is and it plays a cruicial part in sweetening the harmonies,without it the harmonies sound like they are missing butter,it is the layer or rather the range at which most male singers desire to be in.
COUNTERTENOR
Counter tenor,"yes here it is"this is the highets male voice and it is a rare jewel,it is not easy to find a male who can sing this as a confort zone,it is the bridge that transisions from the female lowest voice although there are some few exeptions of female vocalists who can sing this voice too,examples are Mariah Carey,legendary Tony Braxtone,Adelle and the list goes on,counter tenor male singers can sometimes be confused with female voices and are sweet to the ear,exa
